Intense Week

On March 20th, Kenny's step-sister, Michele had her 4th child. It was a sweet little girl and was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which just means that her left side of the heart doesn't work. About 3 days after she was born, she had to go in for open heart surgery (1 of 3 she will have by the time she is 4 years old). The surgery was successful - they basically add what is needed to make the right side of the heart do both jobs. About 12 hours after surgery, she flat-lined, and they had to open her back up and put her on a heart and lung machine. Through many prayers and fasting, she looks like she will be taken off of the machine today to see if her heart will pick back up on it's own.
