We decided that the year 2008 was going to be a very important year for our family and here's why:
Cameron - He hits the big double digits this year - 10 years old!
Maile - She has turned 8 years old and got baptized!
Nicole - She will be starting kindergarten in the fall!
Macy - well, I don't have anything for her other than the fact that she finally got some HAIR! Oh yeah, and she is out of her terrible 2's and into her terrible 3's!!
Jacob - Hits the big 1 year old milestone!
And last but not least, the Mayer family has added a 6th addition to our household. His name is Rocky, 6 weeks old, and he is a Pug/Jack Russel Terrior mix. The kids are inlove with him - Cameron likes to play tug of war with him. Maile likes to taken him in the car. Nicole likes to carry him around like he's a real baby doll. Macy just likes to run from him. And Jacob..well we think Rocky thinks Jacob is a dog because he won't leave Jacob alone or his diaper! ha ha

I still think you're nuts for getting a dog. I think five kids is hard enough, I can't imagine taking care of a dog too. But you're probably right, it will be a great thing for your family. He is a VERY cute little dog! Hey, I finally posted a few things!

I agree with Connie and Gary, you got to be careful with your headlines!! I think it's so funny they said that. Actually, if you did announce that you are pregnant, I am not surprised. I know you love kids. I am actually more surprise your new addition is the dog!!!

SO fun! Our children have started a puppy campaign as well! (The only problem is that I am allergic to them!) But, with a cute face like that little one; how could a mother refuse?
I am sure the kids will have a great time with Rocky!
