Kenny has held our 2nd household olympics games and it seems to be a hit with the kids. Here are the 4 events he made up!
#1 Turn off the lights race - Turn ON all the lights in the house and each child gets a chance to run around the entire house and turn them off. Whoever does it in the least amount of time, WINS that event.
#2 Find the phone - Hide one of the cordless phones somewhere in your house. Turn on the "paging system" so it beeps (or you could just call it if you don't have a pager option). When they find the phone, stop the timer. Whoever finds it in the least amount of time, WINS that event.
#3 Match the shoes - Throw a bunch of shoes in a pile. Whoever can get the most matches put in the "shoe organizer" that is over the door in a certain amount of time, wins!
#4 Find the blue underwear! - With a dryer full of clothes, have the contestant find the underwear in the least amount of time!
Our winner last night, was Cameron! Whoooh hooh!!!

Hi Kristi. Do you remember me? I am a friend of Laurie's from Katy and have ordered some vinyl lettering from you. This is fun to see your family. I am going to play the lights out game with my kids.
That sounds like crazy, chaotic fun, I think we'll give it a try. If we can come up with other events I'll be sure to pass them on!
