I arrived at church today a few minutes early only to find out that I was going to be released from my calling in Primary as the music leader. I have done it now for 2years and it has been one of my favorite callings! You can be fun, creative, and silly but then you can also bear testimony of the Savior and have some real spiritual moments with these children because of the power of music. I had many times when the children were singing that I would just feel overwhelmed with the spirit and my testimony would be strengthened listening to them.
I am now going to be serving as secretary in the Relief Society with some really great ladies. I am so grateful to belong to a church where we are given different opportunities to grow and develop. It is such a testimony to me that this is truely the Lord's work here on earth. And even though I am very sad to leave all of my primary kids...I know that I will have the opportunity to learn much from this next assignment.

Hey! Now we can stay up on each other in the blogging world! I remember you as primary chorister in Euless. You were fantastic! But you're right, it's great to have an opportunity to do other things, too. PS - Glad Macy is okay!
Oh my goodness!!! I can't imagine primary without you as the chorister! I loved all the ideas you came up with. I know you will make a great secretary though! Who was called in the presidency??? I sure do miss you and your family.
Have fun in RS.
