Spring Break Camping

Kenny took a couple of days off and we decided to go down to Dinosaur Valley State Park to camp. It was a lot of fun...great inexpensive activity to do with a big family!

The weather was absolutely perfect for camping, which is rather unusual to get here! Right next to our tent site was a little playground for the kids.

And the kids loved climbing the big rocks and playing in the river stream, although they did get...hmm...muddy.

....we even took Rocky.

I remember taking Kenny there when he was just a little one. Glad to see it is still fun.

I love the picture of your Jacob on the teeter-totter. The entire trip looks so fun!

Our family is excited to get back to camping when we come home! That park is on our list - glad to hear it was fun for you all... did you see the fossils near the stream?
