Yesterday we took the kids swimming at our pool. Macy is usually in a life jacket or floaties and I haven't ever worked with her on her swimming because I never have enough free hands! I decided to try and practice with her and to my amazement..the girl can swim!! I couldn't believe it, she can keep her head above water and could swim about 15 feet without any help. At first she couldn't float on her back, but after about 20 minutes, she got the hang of it. Now of course I'm not going to let her just swim without adult supervision..but this is a huge step! My mom said that the summer after I turned 3 I could swim all over the place. Macy and I's birthdays are 2 days apart which would put her at the same age as I was!!

Her dad was swimming in the bathtub as a baby. It runs in the family.
so it sounds like being ridiculously talented runs in the family! jackson took swim lessons this summer and wasn't a fan! could i send him your way?
Too cool! None of my kids can do what I would call swimming. I guess Ryan and Julia are getting close, but I'm jealous!
