We're back from DisneyWorld!

It was magical!! Even though the kids had to miss school and have a ton of work to catch up on, it was perfect time to go because the crowds were very light! We left the hotel almost every morning around 9:00 and didn't get back until 11:30 or 12 at night. The kids did so good at enduring the long days and heat - they would just sleep in the stroller when needed. We stayed at the All Star Movies Resort. It was cute..one of the busier hotels though because it's one of the cheaper ones on disney property. It had huge statues from some of the disney movies in front of the buildings like these:

The food was wonderful...the all-inclusive dining plan is definitely the way to go. I would have never forked out the money to eat at some of the places we were able to go! All of the "sit down" restaurant bills ended up being around $150 each time and we walked out paying nothing. (except tip) Here are some highlights!

CHEF MICKEY's - Huge buffet breakfast with mickey shaped waffles! This was my favorite restaurant out of the entire trip! The characters came to your table for pictures and the food was excellent!!

MAGIC KINGDOM - This park is amazing. A lot of their rides, everyone can get on, including babies. The other nice thing is that the lines are continuously moving because some of them are on moving belts and they never stop. We spent 2 days at this park and our favorites were...

Buzz Lightyear

Peter Pan (I was in another "flying ship" and I took this picture in mid air)

Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad-which was Macy's first BIG roller coaster and of course..she loved it!

EPCOT- The front part of the park has a "living seas" (nemo ride and aquariums) ......

...and the "land" section which had a cool little boat ride through their garden where they grow all the own food without dirt and shape some of their watermelons and pumpkins in the shape of Mickey's head..very cute! They also had a cool flight simulator ride of taking off in a space shuttle..felt very real!

The back part of the park is a big semi-circle where you can tour all of the countries. The kids were not interested in any of this, sad to say, but Cameron did really enjoy the performance put on the by the "Beatles" in the UK.

GARDEN GRILL RESTAURANT - The food here was excellent and the restaurant turns very slowly in a circle. Again, Mickey, Goofy, and Chip and Dale come out to visit! Macy was enthralled with all of the characters. She would just gaze at them and smile and then give them a big hug before they left. You could tell she thought they were real.

For dessert - they brought out cupcakes for the kids that they could decorate! They really liked that.

ANIMAL KINGDOM This park is kind of like a zoo but better because there are rollercoasters and cool rides along with all the animals. They have a cool safari ride that you ride on and get to see rhinos, elephants, lions, and crocodiles..your typical zoo animals. The shade was unbelievable because of the "jungle" atmosphere and trees all around. Kenny said this was his favorite park. Right in the middle of the park is this HUGE tree and tree house.

In the base of the tree, there is a 3D show called "Tough to be a Bug". At one point, it looked like this spider came out into the audience and then all of a sudden there were these pointy things that came out of the back of your chair and poked you in the back..totally caught you off guard..very funny though! At the end, they asked the audience to stay seated while the leeches and other bugs left the auditorium, and then all of a sudden you could feel the movement in the bottom of your seat and everyone was screaming!

Everest, is one of the roller coasters Cameron, Maile, and Nicole loved! After they had been on it, then they took me. In the middle of the ride, you go through this cave where the abominable snowman is, and it looks like the tracks are broken. It comes to a complete stop. I looked at Cameron thinking what's going to happen next, and all of a sudden it went backwards! Cameron knew I had no idea of what was coming..it was cracking him up! They also had a Roaring Rapids ride. Macy was barely tall enough to ride so they marked her with a bright bracelet and put her in a special seat. She got drenched!

CINDERELLA DINNER - We decided it would be fun to bring the girls costumes from home and dress them up for this dinner. So we dolled them up with makeup, hair glitter, tiaras, costumes, and dress up shoes! They just look so cute - Maile was acting so grown up and graceful! And Nicole was also on cloud 9 dancing and prancing around this place.

As we ate Prince Charming, Cinderella, the Evil Stepmother and the stepsisters came around to our table. We tried to make the Evil Stepmother crack a smile, but she was way into her character and wouldn't budge. Prince Charming showed Cameron how to be a gentleman so when Cinderella came around he would know what to do. He was so embarrassed when she came, he didn't "ask for her hand" like he was supposed to. A few minutes later, Cinderella came back over during a song and asked him to dance!

CRYSTAL PALACE with POOH and FRIENDS At this restaurant we saw Tigger, Pooh, and Piglet. They did a little parade with the kids around the tables. Kenny took his Goofy with us and Piglet thought he would be funny by holding him upside down.

Jacob was scared of all of the characters..even the human ones (like Jasmine and Aladin). But after a few days he wouldn't cry if they approached the table, just if they came close to and touched him. You can tell he's got his eyes fixed on this one!

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
- Rocking Rollercoaster was definitely one of the top 3 here. It's an indoor ride in the dark that goes from 0 to 60 in like 3 secs. I talked Maile into going on this one and she loved it afterwards.

Nicole was very sad though because she wasn't tall enough. However, she made up for it because she was the only one besides Cameron who would ride the Tower of Terror which is a ride that takes you 13 stories straight up, opens an elevator, and then you drop straight back down to random floors. There was no way I was going on that thing!
The Toy Story Mania ride is new this year and was really neat. It's like you are in a big video game and you use the guns on your car to shoot at targets on the walls and score points.

We also like the Indiana Jones Stunt Show and during a Star Wars show, Cameron was picked to go up on stage and learned to light sabre fight with Ob-Wan-Kanobi.

We really wanted to eat here....
...but they ended up closing early..big dissapointment.
Our sit down restaurant for that day was Prime Time Cafe where you felt like you were sitting in your grandma's kitchen.

If you put your elbows on the table or tattled, they put you in time out with your nose against the wall. Maile was caught! Can you see her by the waiter standing against the wall?

It's taken these last 4 days we've been home just to recoop and get everything back in order! We really did have a great time.

Oh, we can't wait to do this some time in the near future! So, did you get two rooms, or was this a suite?
