Start of my new Tradition!

I am always wanting to practice on my bread-making skills but never find the time to work it into my schedule. So I decided that since General Conference comes twice a year, that's when I will work on my homemade cinnamon rolls! So I made them for the first time yesterday - no bread machine, no canned biscuit stuff...all from scratch! I got up at 7:00 and started the dough and when the kids woke up, they helped me roll it out, add the cinnamon and sugar, and then roll the strips up. They were very light and fluffy (this was a huge success compared to other breads I've made). I did learn I should have added a little bit more sugar on the cinnamon/sugar part - you can't be skimpy on adding either one of those! It was a pretty good recipe and now since I blogged this I have to be committed to make them again next General Conference!
